Attention: Bike transport is only possible to a limited extent on the tram. The following regulations apply to bike transport on the STB:

  • Maximum 4 bikes in the interior
  • Wheelchair users, walkers and prams have priority.
  • Bikes must be properly secured and clean.
  • Full-face helmets must be removed
  • Minimum age 14 years or accompanied by an adult
  • Since May 2020, bicycles may only be taken on IVB buses and streetcars on weekdays between 09:00 and 15:00 and between 18:30 and 06:00 - i.e. no longer during rush hours, when the volume of passengers on public transport is at its highest. There are no time restrictions on weekends and public holidays.

For "mass transportation" the following applies: a distance of at least one metre must always be maintained and mouth and nose protection must be worn.
