Dortmunder Hütte

The Dortmunder Hütte is a traditional Austrian Alpine Club mountain hut located on the outskirts of Kühtai at an altitude of over 2,000 metres above sea level. It is, however, still easy to access via car or mountain bike. The hut is located near a lift in the Kühtai ski resort and is also a popular base for touring in the Sellrain Valley and an excellent starting point for hikes. 

The Dortmunder Hütte offers accommodation for mountaineers. Visitors can refuel on hearty Tyrolean cuisine and are often particularly impressed by the excellent service.
In winter, guests can enjoy 11 kilometres of cross-country ski trails, a 2.5 kilometre toboggan run towards the Finstertal reservoir and a multitude of winter hiking trails, all located nearby.
