The Klangspuren are the focal point for new classical music in Tyrol and have been a fixed part of the international music festival scene for years. With composition commissions, numerous world premieres, and Austrian premieres, the festival actively promotes the latest developments within music. The program is as diverse as the places where the music is performed: from the classic concert hall to a factory hall to a green meadow – for Klangspuren, anything can become an experimental space for new music. And new music at the Klangspuren does not have to adhere to narrow limits and traditional forms, but can be as free as it wants to be.
