Anatomical Museum Innsbruck

The famous exhibition "Body Worlds" is the modern version of an anatomical museum. The Anatomical Museum Innsbruck belongs to the university, and you will find it in the building of the anatomical institute. There you will see specimens of humans, such as skeletal remains, skulls, and models. In addition, there are wet and dry preparations to admire. These include jars with prepared organs like lungs, hearts, and much more.

The museum offers exciting insights into the history and work of anatomy. However, those who wish to visit should be aware: Here you will see real humans and body parts.

Guided tours of the anatomical collection are possible by appointment. Admission is free.
